What we collect
Nothing. Kannada Kali does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information, usage data, or analytics. There is no sign-up, login, or account of any kind, and the app never asks for your name, email, location, contacts, or any other personal detail.
What stays on your device
The only information the app keeps is your own quiz scores and progress, so you can see how far you’ve come. This is stored locally in your device’s app storage using the operating system’s standard local-storage mechanism — it never leaves your phone or tablet, is never uploaded anywhere, and is deleted automatically if you uninstall the app.
How pronunciation works
When you tap the speaker icon on a word, the app uses your device’s own built-in text-to-speech engine to read it aloud. This happens entirely on-device; no audio or text is sent to a server.
Third-party services
None. Kannada Kali does not integrate any analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, or third-party SDKs. All learning content — words, translations, and images — ships inside the app itself.
Children’s privacy
Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it is safe for users of all ages, including children. We do not knowingly collect data from children, or from anyone else, for the reasons above.
Permissions
The app does not request access to your contacts, location, camera, microphone, photos, or any other device permission beyond what’s needed to play on-device audio for pronunciation.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future version of the app adds a feature that uses data differently — we’ll update this page and revise the date above before that feature ships.
